From first visit to handover
Survey and Inspect
We visit the site to inspect the existing electrical installation, discuss what you are planning and identify anything that needs to be considered before the work is priced.
Quote and Plan
You receive a quotation setting out what is included, with any additional or remedial work shown separately. We then agree access, isolations and working hours around the way the building is used.
Carry Out the Work
Our engineers complete the agreed electrical work, coordinating any subcontractors involved and keeping you updated if anything unexpected is found during the installation.
Test and Handover
Once the work is complete, we inspect and test the installation, provide the relevant certification and hand over the records needed for the building.
Why the cheapest quote can cost more
A low quote can look good at the start, but problems usually come when parts of the job have not been allowed for.
A full distribution board, not enough capacity in the supply, extra circuits, access requirements or work needed to the existing installation can all change the project once it has started.
We look at the building and the existing electrics before we price larger work. If something else needs to be included, we want to identify it at the start and explain why.
That gives you a clearer scope and a more reliable cost before the work begins, rather than a cheaper figure that grows as the project goes on.

Inspection and testing

Main panels and power distribution
We design and install main intake panels, LV switchgear and power distribution for larger buildings. This includes load assessments, submains, distribution boards and phased changeovers where parts of the building need to remain powered. View power and panels
Backup Power
We design and install backup power systems for commercial buildings, including standby generators, UPS systems, transfer switching and temporary supplies. Electric heating
We install electric radiant and infrared heating for buildings that are difficult or expensive to heat. This includes radiant heating for sports halls and other large areas, as well as heated pews for churches. We survey the building first to make sure the system is suitable before we recommend it. Our regular coverage includes Brighton and Hove, Lewes, Eastbourne, Hastings, Tunbridge Wells, Crawley, Worthing and Maidstone. We also travel further for larger commercial projects, including London.

What type of electrical work do you take on?
Most of our work is commercial, including EICRs and testing, electrical installations, LED lighting upgrades, power distribution, electric heating, data cabling and EV charging.
On the domestic side, we focus on full house rewires, major renovations, high-end builds and smart home projects rather than small repairs or general household call-outs.
Do you visit before providing a quotation?
Yes, for larger electrical work.
We look at the existing installation, available capacity, access and what you are planning before we price the project. Where drawings and specifications are already available, we can use these alongside the site visit.
Can you work around an occupied building?
Yes. A lot of our work is carried out in buildings that need to remain in use.
We can plan work in stages, outside normal hours, during school holidays or around agreed shutdown periods depending on the building and the project.
Do you work for main contractors and respond to tenders?
Yes.
We work directly for clients as well as main contractors, consultants, architects and other project teams. We are used to working from drawings, specifications and tender documents and to following fixed programmes and site requirements.
