We have been carrying out commercial electrical work since 2008 and can manage the full electrical installation from survey and design through to testing, certification and handover.
Commercial electrical installation services
We carry out full commercial electrical installations rather than taking on one part of the job and leaving you to find separate contractors for the rest.
Our work includes office and Cat B fit-outs, lighting, small power, distribution boards, main intake panels, submains, heating, data cabling and EV charging.
We plan the work around the building, install it to the required standards and provide the certification and documentation at handover.

Offices and commercial property
We carry out electrical fit-outs, upgrades and ongoing works for offices and commercial property. This can include a single floor, a full office fit-out or wider upgrades to the building’s lighting, power and distribution.
Schools and education
We carry out installations, rewires and upgrades for schools, colleges and universities. We can plan larger works around school holidays and term dates to reduce disruption to staff and pupils.
Churches and houses of worship
We work in churches and houses of worship, carrying out lighting, heating, rewires and other electrical improvements. Where faculty approval or input from the diocese is required, we can work alongside the church team and other professionals involved in the project.
Universities
We carry out larger electrical installation and infrastructure projects for universities, including power distribution and main panel work. We are used to planning around occupied buildings and areas where maintaining electrical supply is critical.
Industrial
We work on industrial sites where electrical work needs to be planned around production and normal operations. We can phase the installation and arrange shutdowns around the site rather than expecting the business to stop for us.
Retail, Restaurants & Bars
Our work covers shops, restaurants, bars and larger venues, from a full fit-out to lighting, power and testing on an existing site. This includes LED and emergency lighting, small power, distribution boards, data cabling and power infrastructure for staging and lighting equipment.
How we manage your electrical project
We start with a site visit to understand the existing installation, what you want to achieve and anything else that needs to be allowed for.
We then provide a clear quotation based on the full scope of the electrical work. If something sits outside that scope, we show it separately so you know what is and is not included before the project starts.
We also look beyond the immediate request. If the new layout needs extra power, changes to the distribution, emergency lighting or other electrical work, we want to identify that at the start rather than halfway through the installation.
We plan the installation around how the building is used. That can include evenings, weekends, school holidays or phased working where parts of the site need to stay operational.
When the work is complete, we test, certify and document the installation ready for handover
Experienced commercial electrical contractors
We are an NICEIC Approved Contractor and SafeContractor accredited. Our engineers are DBS checked, which is particularly important for schools, universities and other sites where access needs to be controlled.
We have been trading since 2008 and regularly work on larger commercial projects, including installations that involve fit-outs, power distribution and work in occupied buildings.
We focus on giving you a clear scope at the start, carrying out the work properly and handing over an installation that is tested, certified and documented.
Commercial electrical installation FAQs
Can you install the main panel as well as the fit-out?
Yes. We can carry out the main intake panel and power distribution as well as the electrical fit-out itself.
This means we can manage the electrical installation as one project rather than leaving you to coordinate separate contractors for the main supply, distribution and fit-out.
Where building work is needed around the panel or intake, we manage this through subcontractors while remaining responsible for the electrical installation.
Will the building need to close while you carry out the work?
Not necessarily.
We plan the work around the way the building operates and can use phased working, out-of-hours installation and temporary supplies where appropriate.
For larger projects, we agree any required shutdowns with you in advance and schedule them for the least disruptive time.
On one university project in Chichester, we changed a main intake panel over three days using backup generators so the laboratories could remain powered throughout the work.
Do you provide electrical certification?
Yes. We test and certify the electrical work at the end of the installation and provide the relevant documentation at handover.
This gives you a clear record of the work that has been carried out and the test results for the completed installation.
